I don’t understand you.

Why would you treat a person who has been so cold to you, so well?

I have been a total bitch for the past few months. I’ve thrown tantrums and showed you the ugliest side of me just to irk you off and yet, you don’t give up. 

If I could talk to you like how I did before, I would ask you since when did it start and why me? Why do you still hold on to someone who has so clearly said No? Why are you ok with taking the role of watching me from afar and doing nice things anonymously? Why are you so…foolish?

At times I wished I could give you a chance but it’s way too awkward now and it is just the worst time to start something.  

I really want to just ignore you and look through you but your last words to me really hit a spot.

“Carmen, to see you smile and be happy is the greatest gift I can ask for in life.” 

Seriously? I don’t know whether I should believe that or not. It’s the cheesiest line I ever heard and I am not sure whether you have used it on anyone else before, like what the bastard before did. You are so much more decent than him but I find it hard to give anyone the benefit of the doubt.

The worst part about falling for someone like you is that when it ends, it will sting like hell. 

And I am not sure what makes me frustrated; you for being there or me for how I am reacting.

That really ends everything.

I finally got the closure I want.

Can’t believe I actually spent so much time on a person who finds me so dispensable. 

But I will admit, it it super shitty to know the same words used to sucker me up were used on another girl. 

Letting go and moving on, for good. 

Seriously, all these games about feelings and hopes just prove that I had too much time to waste. Time to focus on the real deal.

I have been missing the wrong person for way too long. This is something which so many fools in the world are doing. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY? What so many of us need is truly just closure. :)
